Introducing MariaDB ColumnStore!

Hello DBversity,

Today marks a significant milestone for the MariaDB community. We are announcing the upcoming release of our big data analytics engine, MariaDB ColumnStore.

With this release, MariaDB will offer processing of both transactional and analytical workloads. The unification is made possible by MariaDBs extensible architecture, which allows simultaneous use of purpose-built storage engines.

MariaDB users will be able to:

Scale big data analytics to process petabytes of data with ColumnStore’s massively parallel architecture
